There are 3 courses at Quinta do Lago Golf Club: North, South and Laranjal. Quinta do Lago North and South courses provide different difficulties. The surface is similar on both courses, based on sandy Algarvean soil covered with pine trees, heather, broom and numerous stunning wild flowers. The large greens are generally of Creeping Bentgrass.
The terrain is carefully swelling and numerous lakes feature in the play of each course. The bunkering is exceptional. The layouts supply a test for players of all ability levels the sign of excellent golf courses. Quinta do Lago South Course will be closed until early September 2020 for 7 million in upgrading its facilities.
